I believe GMRS channels are found within the 462 and 467 frequencies. That said, I am a little confused on the relationship between frequency designations like 70 cm and 2 meter and abbreviations like VHF, UHF.The Wouxun has 3 transmit power settings. The GM-30 only has two. The GM-30 allows changing the power level from high to low by pressing the * key. The Wouxun requires going into the menu and takes a minimum of 6 key presses to make the same change. The Wouxun allows customizing the action of the two side buttons, the GM-30 does not.
